Dynamic Self compression Plates are specially designed to exert dynamic pressure between the bone fragments to be transfixed. Holes of the plate are shaped like an inclined transverse cylinder through which screw head can slide, resulting in movement of bone fragment relative to the plates. DCP Broad Plates are used as a tension band plate on the femur and for the humeral pseudorthrosis (not intended for tibia). These are compatible with 4.5 & 6.5 mm Cancellous Screws. All holes are designed as self-compressing holes.
